Role description
Job Title: Google Cloud Specialist (Looker/BigQuery) – 6+ Years
Location - Piscataway, NJ
Must-Have Skills:
• 7+ years of strong experience with Looker, BigQuery, and GCP (Primary: Looker, Secondary: BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience in GCP environment, data modeling, and complex BQ queries.
• Expertise in dashboards/reports using Looker or Google Data Studio.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data analytics, Agile development, and GCP development tools.
• Good understanding of Unit Testing and testing practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Participate in the design and development of technical components.
• Lead and support offshore teams, dispatching work and resolving queries.
• Work closely with Business Analysts/SMEs to analyze requirements.
• Responsible for design, development, unit testing, and technical reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to bridge communication and ensure deliverables.
• Apply Agile/Waterfall methodologies and test-driven development practices.
• Demonstrate problem-solving, leadership, and excellent communication skills.
