Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 Annually. Salary will be dependent upon experience.

Job Summary
Responsible for providing participating in the development and execution of projects(to include private, federal, state, local and military clients) for BES. This includes the Planning and Geographic Information Systems teams. You will be asked to support CD&I or any of the other business units in need of assistance.
Essential Functions
β’ Prepare Detailed Cost Estimates: Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for DoD repair, renovation, and new construction projects, considering labor, materials, equipment, typical project markups and other relevant factors such as location specific and market condition markups. This can include estimates for ICD/ICS 705 compliant spaces/facilities. Estimates will be prepared to AACE Class 3, AACE, Class 4, or AACE Class 5 (or respective equivalent) level as dictated by the project requirements. Estimates will be prepared using appropriate cost estimating software as required by the project.
β’ Analyze Project Specifications: Review project plans, as-builts, concept plans, design drawings, and specifications/UFCs/DoD construction criteria and guidance to determine the scope of work, materials needed, and cost implications.
β’ Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure that estimates are accurate and aligned with project requirements. This may include participating in meetings, presentations or site-visits.
β’ Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project scope and budget and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks.
β’ Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all cost estimates comply with DoD regulations, standards, and contract requirements.
β’ Market Analysis: Stay updated on current market conditions, labor rates, material costs, and industry trends that could impact project costs.
β’ Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all cost estimates, assumptions, and methodologies used, ensuring transparency and auditability. Prepare cost estimate products for concept documents, COA development, project approval documents, RFPs, etc. using current techniques, cost estimating software, and market pricing. Prepare reports, estimate summaries, or Basis of Estimate documentation to be included in various reports and products, as directed by supervisor.
β’ Research assigned areas or issues and write comprehensive reports summarizing information or advocating for specific objectives.
β’ Execute project tasks, including report preparation, technical document development, presentations, and contributing to other project deliverables.
β’ Meet with clients and representatives to present design concepts, resolve issues, answer questions, and maintain strong relationships.
β’ Contribute to proposal development by providing content for the approach, schedule, or other sections as needed.
Competencies
β’ Gather input from stakeholders involved in all aspects of a project to ensure their perspective and specialized knowledge is incorporated into recommendations and proposed solutions.
β’ Use statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or other methods to analyze information and develop practical solutions to business problems.
β’ Collect and organize information from a variety of sources, such as computer databases, scanned documents, surveys, and customer feedback
β’ Write memos, reports, and develop presentations explaining their findings and recommendations for managers, executives, and other project stakeholders
β’ Outstanding communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
β’ Well versed in use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
β’ Working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, and others)
β’ Ability and willingness to travel to project sites and other facility offices.

β’ None.
Education And Experience
β’ Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, operations research, data science or related field of study.
β’ Minimum of eight years of work-related experience.
β’ Preferred experience working with or for the Department of Defense.
β’ Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the Companyβs MVR screening.
