GP MS Dynamics Consultant

Kindly go through the entire email.- Remote Title: Microsoft Dynamic GP Consultant Location- Remote- NY Duration: Initially slated 12+ months Long Term Contract (Potential to Extend for Multiple) Pay Rate: $Market best/hr on W2/C2C (as per min expectation) Skills Required: The resource need to be strong in GP, SQL, and D365. Key Responsibilities • Dynamics GP Support & Maintenance • Manage daily operations of Microsoft Dynamics GP, including troubleshooting, user support, and system configuration. • Perform upgrades, patches, and module installations as needed. • Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to streamline processes and optimize GP functionality. • SQL Development & Reporting • Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support data analysis and reporting. • Integration & Data Management • Support data migration, ETL processes, and system integrations with Dynamics GP. • Maintain database performance, security, and backups. • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency. • Design, implement, and support complex integrations between Dynamics GP and Dynamics 365 (Business Central, Finance & Operations, CRM), ensuring smooth data flow across financial, operational, and customer-facing systems. • Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with business users to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. • Provide training and documentation for end users and internal teams. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) administration and customization. • Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS). • Experience with GP modules such as Financials, Inventory, Purchasing, and Payroll. • Experience in integrating GP with Dynamics 365 applications • Solid understanding of ERP workflows, accounting principles, and business processes. • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across GP and SQL environments. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Dynamics 365 applications beyond GP integration (Finance & Operations, Business Central, CRM). • Familiarity with Power Platform tools including Power Automate (workflow automation) and Power Apps (custom applications). • Experience with Power BI for data visualization. • Familiarity with Dynamics GP third-party add-ons (e.g., Management Reporter, eConnect, Integration Manager). • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies for Dynamics GP. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
