GRC Administrator & Developer (Hybrid – Lansing, MI)
Schedule: Hybrid, onsite Mondays & Tuesdays from day 1
Duration: 1 year with possible extension

Pay Rate: $35-40p/hr
Role Overview
Seeking a Programmer to support and enhance a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform. This role focuses on Python development, API automation, database design, and ongoing administration of a web-based GRC system. The position includes troubleshooting, documentation, integration work, and collaboration with IT, security, audit, and enterprise technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and develop the organization’s GRC tool (Navex IRM)
• Build automation for security and compliance workflows, evidence collection, routing, and control reviews
• Design unified security control frameworks mapped to standards such as CJIS v6.0, IRS 1075, PCI (SAQ A/AEP), and ARC-AMPE
• Develop and maintain Python modules for API integrations, data imports, updates, and continuous monitoring
• Integrate structured data (JSON, CSV) and maintain source control in Azure Repos
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for automation, reporting, and system data exchange
• Troubleshoot platform and integration issues, escalate to vendor as needed
• Maintain technical documentation in Azure Repos and SharePoint
• Collaborate with security, IT, and business units on development, testing, and implementation
• Identify root causes of GRC issues and coordinate solutions with support teams
• Participate in testing, implementation, release support, and process improvements
Required Skills
• Python programming (2–3+ years)
• API integration, automation scripting, RESTful API experience
• Database design and structured data handling
• Basic programming ability in Java or C#
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts and Risk Management
• Experience working in Agile environments (sprints, standups)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
• Experience with GRC tools (Navex IRM strongly preferred)
• Automated testing experience
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Understanding of security standards such as CJIS, IRS 1075, PCI, ARC-AMPE
