Role description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. Position: Guidewire Integration Location: Woodland, CA Job Mode: Long Term Contract Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Integration Developer with strong ClaimCenter integration experience. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting integrations using GOSU/Java, web services, and middleware platforms in a P&C insurance environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and modify Guidewire ClaimCenter integrations • Build and maintain workflows, web services, messaging, and batch processes • Develop GOSU/Java code, APIs, adapters, and plugins • Perform testing (GUnit/JUnit), debugging, and production support • Handle code merges, environment management, and Guidewire upgrades • Work in Agile teams and collaborate with onshore/offshore developers • Lead or support solution design, code reviews, and sprint deliveries Required Skills: • Strong experience in Guidewire Integration (ClaimCenter) • Good knowledge of P&C Insurance (Claims domain) • Hands-on with GOSU or Java, J2EE, XML/Web Services, RDBMS • Experience with middleware (MuleSoft, WebMethods, WebSphere ESB, or similar) • Experience with batch processing and scalable integration design
