Job Title: Guidewire Data Conversion Specialist – Property & Casualty Insurance Location: [Onsite/Hybrid/Remote] Experience Required: 8–10 Years (6–7 Years in Guidewire) Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire Data Conversion Specialist with deep expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance to lead and execute data migration activities for legacy system modernization projects. This role requires hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using tools like Informatica and mapping from legacy data models to Guidewire's data model. The ideal candidate should have worked across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs), such as Personal Auto, Homeowners, Marine Insurance, etc., and possess a clear understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and execute data conversion/migration efforts from legacy systems to Guidewire InsuranceSuite(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). • Analyze and map legacy data models to Guidewire data model (entity/typelist mapping). • Design and implement ETL processes using Informatica or similar data integration tools. • Coordinate with configuration and integration streams to ensure alignment across systems. • Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to understand data quality and cleansing needs. • Develop and execute data validation and reconciliation processes. • Work closely with QA to support test case creation and defect resolution. • Support cloud migration strategies involving data transfer and system connectivity. Required Skills: • 6–7+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite projects. • Strong understanding of Guidewire Data Model and LOBs such as Personal Auto, Homeowners, Commercial Lines. • Proven experience in data conversion/migration using Informatica or similar ETL tools. • Good understanding of Guidewire configuration and integration streams. • Strong analytical and communication skills – ability to interact with business users and technical teams. • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: • Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter). • Experience in Agile delivery and tools like JIRA/Confluence. • Exposure to cloud migration strategies and data architecture. Additional Notes: • Candidates with multi-LOB exposure and prior experience in large-scale core insurance transformation programs will be preferred. • This role may involve working with onshore and offshore teams, and some travel might be required depending on the client.
