Job Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with strong expertise in both configuration and integration, along with hands-on experience in cloud deployment or migration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and collaborate with global insurance clients to deliver scalable, high-quality PolicyCenter implementations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and implement solutions in Guidewire PolicyCenter using Guidewire Studio and GOSU.
• Perform PolicyCenter configuration including UI components, data model, typelists, business rules, workflows, and validation logic.
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using Guidewire Integration Framework, REST/SOAP APIs, plugins, and messaging services.
• Collaborate with solution architects to build scalable, high-performance, and cloud-ready solutions.
• Participate in cloud migration initiatives and support deployments on AWS or Azure platforms.
• Contribute to development lifecycle activities including coding, unit testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with QA, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Support insurance processes such as billing instructions, installment plans, and delinquency handling where applicable.
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration:
• Entities, typelists, rules, workflows, screens, and validations
• Proven experience in PolicyCenter integrations:
• Plugins, messaging, REST/SOAP web services, and batch processes
• Proficiency in GOSU, Java, and Guidewire Studio
• Experience with insurance lifecycle components such as:
• FNOL, Coverage Verification, Reserves, Payments, Recoveries, and Subrogation
• Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure), including deployment concepts and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database management, XML, and related data technologies
• Experience in debugging, unit testing, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
• Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter (Configuration and/or Integration)
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native development patterns
• Familiarity with BillingCenter or other Guidewire products
• Hands-on experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting in PolicyCenter implementations
• Understanding of containerization concepts (Docker/Kubernetes)
