Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Developer with hands-on experience in Standards-Based Template (SBT). The role involves designing, developing, and configuring rating solutions within PolicyCenter, ensuring compliance with business requirements and Guidewire best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and customize PolicyCenter Rating Engine using Gosu and PCF.
Work with SBT (Standards-Based Template) for standardized rating configurations and code structure.
Implement rating logic, rate tables, modifiers, coverages, and pricing algorithms.
Develop and maintain Product Model rating rules and rating worksheets.
Collaborate with business analysts and actuarial teams to understand rating requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integrate rating services with external systems via SOAP/REST APIs and plugins.
Perform unit testing of rating logic and support QA/UAT cycles.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimations, and code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration & rating development.
Strong expertise in Guidewire Rating Engine (rate books, tables, modifiers, patterns).
Proficiency in Gosu, PCF configuration, and Guidewire Studio.
Hands-on experience with SBT (Standards-Based Template) in PolicyCenter.
Understanding of Product Model (policy lines, coverages, forms, rules, rating).
Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and messaging.
Familiarity with Agile methodology, Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD tools.
Nice-to-Have:
Guidewire PolicyCenter Specialist / Ace certification (Rating focus preferred).
