Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Guidewire Technical Lead (Player-Coach) to drive the design, development, and integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter (Cloud) solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities to mentor a small offshore team while actively contributing to development, integrations, and architecture decisions.
Must-Have Skills
β’ Guidewire PolicyCenter (Cloud Version β P4/Expert) with 8+ years of experience
β’ Guidewire Development & Integration (5+ years) β strong hands-on coding (not support)
β’ Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (APD) β 5+ years with active code/entity generation
β’ Integration Gateway (IG) with Apache Camel (Java) experience
β’ Experience with App Events / Event-Driven Architecture (REST/Webhooks)
β’ Active Guidewire Certification (mandatory) β full certification (not specialist)
β’ Technical Lead experience (2+ years) with stakeholder management
β’ Strong hands-on ability to debug, troubleshoot, and fix integration issues
β’ Willingness to work hybrid (3 days onsite) in listed locations
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead design, development, and integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter (Cloud) solutions
β’ Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and custom transformations (IG/Camel)
β’ Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions
β’ Mentor and guide offshore team members while remaining hands-on
β’ Drive technical decisions, architecture improvements, and best practices
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment and quality
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
β’ Guidewire ACE Certification (PolicyCenter or Integration)
β’ Guidewire Cloud Certification (Integration Gateway / CAA)
β’ Experience with Guidewire Cloud versions (Niseko, Oulu, Las LeΓ±as)
β’ AWS Certified Developer or Architect
β’ Strong background in Java and microservices architecture
