Role description
Job Location: Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)
Core Skills (Must-Have)
1. Hadoop Ecosystem Expertise
• Hands-on with Hive, PySpark, HBase, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, MapReduce.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
• Understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning pipelines.
1. Python
• Strong programming experience.
• Ability to build ETL workflows, data validation, and automation scripts.
• Exposure to PySpark or other big data processing libraries is a major plus.
1. Oracle (SQL/PLSQL)
• Advanced querying, data modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning.
• Experience integrating Oracle data with big data platforms (Hadoop/Hive, etc.).
Familiarity with Autosys (for scheduling and orchestration).
Unix/Linux scripting (Perl, Shell).
Exposure to Exadata, NoSQL databases, or graph databases (e.g., Neo4j).
Experience using JIRA, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD environments.
xposure to Gen AI / LLM technologies (for data quality, automation, or analytics augmentation).
Microsoft Azure experience (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, etc.) for cloud data integration.
Experience with Co-Pilot tools for development productivity.
