Working with a client who are looking for a Data SME to own everything data on a large transformation programme – the Head of Data will be responsible for everything data from migration and integration to reporting, quality, and architecture.
MUST have previous experience of working on a large-scale ERP transformation and have a technical data background.
Head of Data, key responsibilities:
Act as the data technical authority on the programme
Provide leadership, coaching, motivation and direction to those working in the data workstream
Drive the creation of a co-ordinated plan across architecture, migration, integration, and reporting and insight, including associated test
Drive implementation of the plan and associated data activities
Where relevant, define the role of 3rd party data service vendors and create appropriate briefs
Ensure appropriate levels of data quality evaluation are undertaken, and that the outputs are used in decision-making with regard to retention of data
Work with architecture to ensure that we are making data architecture decisions that support defined and future need
