This role will architect and scale a data-as-a-product operating model, ensuring trusted, well-governed data and analytics are consistently delivered to business stakeholders. The position works cross-functionally with executives across business, technology, and analytics teams to translate data investments into measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Drive
• Define and execute the long-term data product vision and strategy tied to enterprise objectives
• Lead modernization of reporting, analytics, and data delivery platforms to enable faster insights
• Oversee governance frameworks, metadata management, and quality controls to ensure integrity and compliance
• Serve as the product owner for the data engineering portfolio, managing priorities and agile delivery cycles
• Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, and business partners to align on standards and execution
• Implement enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting to enhance transparency
• Foster a culture of data accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams
What You Bring
• 10+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence leadership
• Strong understanding of data ecosystems within insurance, banking, or broader financial services
• Proven success modernizing traditional data warehouses and reporting environments into scalable cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Databricks)
• Expertise with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Cognos, or Qlik
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, SQL, Python, or R
• Experience managing agile data teams and product backlogs with a focus on business value delivery
• Demonstrated strength in executive communication and stakeholder influence
• Familiarity with data quality management, governance practices, and regulatory compliance
• Agile Product Owner certification or comparable agile leadership credentials
• Understanding of how AI, ML, and automation can enhance analytics delivery
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, accountability, and measurable impact
