Title- BI Developer Location- 100% REMOTE W2 pay rate range-$48-57/hr W2 Duration- 06+ months contract with strong possible extension Client- Direct Hospital Client JOB ID- USCAJP00016842 They need a BI Developer who has hands-on experience working with Cerner data and building dashboards using Power BI or Tableau. You’ll be responsible for creating enterprise dashboards, writing SQL queries against Cerner databases, documenting requirements, and supporting hospital departments with reporting needs. They’re looking for someone who can work independently and already understands healthcare data workflows Description: Summary: Under the supervision and guidance of the department leader and/or seasoned developers, the Business Intelligence DeveloperI will work in client name IS team to develop and test, implement business intelligence solutions for various client name departments. The position will serve as the subject expert as it relates to dashboards. Also, this position will be responsible for identifying and documenting information technology design specifications based on analysis/assessment of user needs and generate need-gap analyses.Also, this role ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, extracting, analyzing and transforming data. The BusinessIntelligence Developer I also understands the functional workflow and processes of the Departments he/she supports and maintains system functionality leverage client name various technologies including but not limited to QlikView, Cerner CommandLanguage (CCL) and other applications, Hadoop and RDBMS. Applies learned skills to perform problem resolution across integrated platforms, systems, processes and departments. Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of client name. For each candidate submitted, please confirm the number of years they have working with Cerner data. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,Computer Engineering, or related field required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years' of relevant business support and/or information technology support experience are required. Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience including dashboards/ BI reporting design, documentation, maintenance, implementation, upgrades and troubleshooting with at least 6 months of PowerBI and Tableau experience. Must have experience with Structured Query Language (MS SQLServer, Oracle health Cerner). Experience with Cerner data and reporting required - This is a temporary role with potential to extend, so we’re looking for someone who can ramp up quickly with minimal guidance. Must have hands-on expertise with database services and other BI tools experience (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) Must have a maturing level of analytical ability to find solutions to increasingly difficult technical or administrative problems, to determine economic feasibility or options available, and to assess time involved in system changes. Must be able to demonstrate experience with database systems and experience with system design, capacity planning, and capacity management. Must be able to facilitated clear and effective communication between cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams. Accountabilities: Dashboard: SDLC methodology to develop, test and deploy enterprise dashboards promptly. Documentation: Prepare documentation related to dashboards and reports (e.g., FRD). Draft a mock-up data visualization before start building dashboard. Reporting: Generate ad-hoc as well as routine reports and data dump for further consumption. Priority Management: Must work several assignments at one time, manage priorities, deadlines and time. The work ishighly technical, requires collaboration across multiple disciplines and groups. The ability to work independently is also required. Customer Service: Addresses customer questions, concerns, enhancement requests, communicates with customers,handles services problems and tickets politely and efficiently, always available for customers, follows procedures, utilizesproblem solving skills, maintains pleasant and professional image. Customers may include both internal department users, vendors, and peers within IS. Other Duties and On-Call: Ability to fulfill On-Call requirements and other duties as assigned.
