Role description
Data & Analytics Consultant – Healthcare Analytics We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Consultant to design, build, and support a scalable analytics and reporting framework for a healthcare technology program. The consultant will work across multiple data sources to improve reporting accuracy, standardize KPI definitions, automate reporting, and deliver trusted executive and operational dashboards. This is a hands-on role. The consultant will be expected to work directly with data, build data models and reporting solutions, and translate business and operational questions into measurable insights. Note: No H1B transfers or H1B sponsorships available for this role Key Responsibilities β€’ Assess current reporting processes, dashboards, data sources, and data quality issues β€’ Design scalable data models and establish consistent KPI and metric definitions β€’ Build and automate data pipelines and reporting workflows β€’ Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources β€’ Develop executive and operational dashboards covering areas such as adoption, utilization, efficiency, time savings, and financial or operational performance β€’ Improve dashboard accuracy, consistency, and timeliness β€’ Implement data validation and quality control processes β€’ Develop clear, intuitive dashboard experiences for executive and operational users β€’ Translate business questions into measurable metrics and actionable insights β€’ Document data definitions, reporting logic, and analytics processes β€’ Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree β€’ Healthcare analytics experience β€’ Advanced proficiency in SQL β€’ Strong data modeling experience β€’ Experience with Epic Clarity tables and querying β€’ Understanding of Epic UAL data β€’ Strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or a similar BI platform β€’ Proven experience integrating and managing data from multiple sources β€’ Experience building executive-ready dashboards β€’ Strong data validation and quality control skills β€’ Ability to define KPIs and translate business questions into measurable metrics β€’ Strong understanding of data visualization best practices β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills β€’ Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams Preferred Experience β€’ Healthcare utilization and operational reporting β€’ Data governance and data quality management β€’ Reporting automation and self-service analytics β€’ Analytics supporting healthcare technologies or clinical workflows Who Should Apply This role is best suited for a hands-on healthcare analytics consultant who can work across the full analytics lifecycle; from source data and data modeling through KPI definition, validation, and executive dashboard delivery.
