Role: Healthcare Data Scientist Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States Key Responsibilities: • Assist in building and training machine learning models using structured and unstructured healthcare data. • Support data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation tasks. • Collaborate with senior ML engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to implement scalable ML solutions. • Help monitor model performance and assist in retraining and tuning. • Document model workflows, assumptions, and results. • Contribute to the development of reusable ML components and pipelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or analytics • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, or TensorFlow. • Good understanding of SQL and data querying. • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and tools like Databricks or Jupyter Notebooks. • Strong analytical thinking and eagerness to learn healthcare data and standards. • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) and payer systems. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
