Role description
Our client is a rapidly growing biotechnology organization and is in need of an HEOR Analyst to immediately join their team for a long-term project. This consultant will be working closely with the Sr. Director of HEOR and reporting into the Analytics Center of Excellence. This is a fully remote assignment for the next 24 months. Responsibilities β€’ Conduct analyses of real-world data (claims, EHR) to assess disease burden, treatment patterns, healthcare utilization, and outcomes β€’ Develop and maintain efficient SAS programs; contribute reusable code, macros, and analytic tools β€’ Support study design, protocols, and analysis plans for observational research β€’ Generate reports, tables, and visualizations to communicate findings β€’ Perform quality control of programming and outputs β€’ Manage project tracking and documentation per departmental standards β€’ Stay current on healthcare databases, coding systems, and analytical methods Qualifications β€’ BS degree minimum; Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics or related field is preferred β€’ 3+ years of SAS programming and real-world data analysis (claims/EHR datasets such as MarketScan, PharMetrics, Premier) β€’ Experience with observational study design and statistical methods (e.g., regression, survival analysis) β€’ Familiarity with SQL-based platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift; Snowflake a plus) β€’ Working knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) β€’ Experience with R, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus β€’ Strong analytical, project management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
