Role description
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and People analytics. You'll build the technical foundation that powers insights about the employee life cycle from hiring to exit while actively experimenting with AI to improve the efficiency of our data infrastructure. As a member of the people analytics team, you'll design scalable data architectures, optimize our analytics infrastructure, and transform raw data into trusted, reusable datasets. But you'll also need to be scrappy. Our client values creativity and pragmatism alongside technical excellence. Responsibilities: Data Infrastructure & Modeling • Create a scalable data foundation that supports visualization tools such as Tableau or HR analytics tools such as Visier platform, and enables strategic insights across the company. • Design scalable data architectures and build dimensional models that transform raw data into trusted, reusable datasets for self-serve analytics while maintaining performance • Model downstream tables for custom reporting and analytics • Partner with IT to implement data governance including documentation, lineage tracking, quality monitoring, and proactive alerting systems • Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions that scale with organizational growth Partnerships: • Partner with stakeholders to define and scope people analytics data required needs that align with organizational goals • Work directly with people analytics team members/analysts to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions • Advise on best practices for integrating and analyzing data from various HR systems and external sources Requirements: • Have 3+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering with experience in people analytics, or related fields • You are an expert in Snowflake or other cloud tools and processes including optimization, partitioning, and performance tuning • Proficient in SQL, Python, and modern tools like dbt • Have experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker) • Have implemented data security and privacy controls in cloud environment (Preferred not required) • You are comfortable working with messy or incomplete data • You are creative and scrappy, results-oriented with a bias towards flexibility and impact over perfection Benefits: Bee Talent Solutions offers a competitive benefits package for eligible full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
