Role description
We need only the higher level custom integration and complex data migration skillset.
My client is a high-growth, Diamond-tier HubSpot Solutions Partner helping ambitious companies scale smarter. As we push upmarket and take on increasingly complex implementations, we're looking for the person at the top of the technical food chain ready to own the most challenging engineering work on our team.
You'll be our go-to expert, leading solution design, scripting automations, integrating systems, and setting the technical vision for our most strategic projects. If you love a blank whiteboard, cross-functional collaboration, and making things actually work β you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
β’ Architect and execute sophisticated HubSpot integrations and custom solutions
β’ Write scripts to automate migrations and system interactions (C#, Python, TypeScript, Java)
β’ Lead technical discovery and solution design during pre-sales and implementation
β’ Own the technical direction for high-complexity client projects β from blueprint to build
β’ Serve as the final technical escalation point (yes, people will come to you when they're stuck)
β’ Collaborate with sales, strategy, and RevOps to translate business goals into scalable systems
β’ Champion data quality, integration integrity, and performance optimization
β’ Guide and mentor team members (but also enjoy owning your zone)
Experience Required
β’ Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in CRM/RevOps, SaaS, or agency environments
β’ Possess deep, practical HubSpot expertise β from API integrations to data architecture to workflow automation
β’ Can confidently run a technical scoping call and roll up your sleeves to build what you scoped
β’ Are comfortable being the senior-most technical voice on the team β others will rely on your expertise
β’ Are fluent in Javascript, React, Typescript, Python, Hubl
β’ Have experience with event-driven systems, and batch jobs
β’ Enjoy cross-functional collaboration with non-engineers and know how to speak their language
β’ Thrive in a fast-paced, scrappy, high-ownership environment
Bonus Points For
β’ Experience with AI, automation, or data pipeline optimization
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, Zoho, or other major CRM systems
β’ Proficient in 1 or more of the major clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure), with a strong competence in Data Warehousing, Serverless Functions, Object Storage, and Orchestrating ETL Jobs
β’ Competency in Oauth, and token based authentication methods, as well as
β’ Competency in migrating data via csv from SFTP servers
β’ Competency in bulk migrating files such as .pdf, .png
β’ Competency building integration monitoring, and error handling
β’ Prior work in startup or agency environments juggling multiple clients
