Role: Workday Reporting Analyst
Location: Marietta, GA (Fully Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting Analyst to join our team and drive comprehensive reporting solutions across our HR technology ecosystem. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex reports while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze reporting requirements and determine optimal development methodologies, templates, and report design strategies
β’ Serve as subject matter expert for Workday reporting across multiple modules including HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent Management, Payroll, and Time & Absence
β’ Design and develop custom reports and calculated fields following industry best practices and organizational standards
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with report developers, functional experts, and business stakeholders to understand and address evolving reporting needs
β’ Partner with technology and security teams to create calculated fields, implement security policies, and develop Workday objects that support organizational reporting requirements
β’ Provide tier-2 technical support for report-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of user requests and system transactions
β’ Maintain comprehensive change management documentation to support internal and external audit compliance requirements
β’ Conduct regular data integrity audits to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability
β’ Support system upgrades, testing phases, and implementation of new reporting functionality
β’ Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in all stakeholder interactions
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
β’ 3+ years of hands-on Workday report development experience
β’ Advanced proficiency in Workday Matrix and Custom Report development
β’ Expert-level skills in creating and managing calculated fields
β’ Experience with Prism Tables configuration and management
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools
β’ Demonstrated experience with Workday Dashboards and Worksheets
β’ Proven ability to build complex calculated fields and reporting logic
β’ Familiarity with data visualization platforms (Power BI preferred)
β’ Ability to work independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), BIRT, and Workday Studio
β’ Knowledge of Composite Report development
β’ Workday Reporting certification or Workday Pro certification
β’ Experience with additional BI/analytics tools and platforms
β’ Previous experience in regulated industries with audit compliance requirements
