Akkodis is seeking a Hyperion Applications Analyst/ Systems Analyst II for a 7 months contract with a client in Pittsburgh PA 15212
Title: Systems Analyst II/ Hyperion Applications Analyst
Duration: 7 Months contract
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15212
Pay rate: $50 - $55/hr.(The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Responsibilities
Currently in search of an Oracle Global Data Warehouse / Hyperion Applications, Senior Analyst to join the Global Information Systems (GIS) organization at the Corporate Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role you will act as a liaison to businesses and various customer groups as well as coordinate and lead the offshore teams in the support of the Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning & Essbase applications and an Oracle Data Warehouse which enables reporting consistency across the Oracle, Hyperion, and Microsoft SQL Server / Power BI analytical applications.
Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving support issues, championing process improvements, coordinating technical work, and coordinating support efforts across various infrastructure and application support teams.
As a Senior Analyst, you will lead small to mid-sized projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage and track project schedules, monitor budgets, identify risks and communicate clearly with partners from across the company. Your projects may span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the key players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
Major activities/Key challenges:
โข Demonstrate fundamental understanding of business applications, processes, and technology
โข Establish and maintain an effective working relationship across the organization, with leadership, customers, and 3rd party vendors
โข Opportunity to lead small to large-scale projects working with stakeholders to - plan requirements, manage and track project schedules, monitor budgets, identify risks, and communicate clearly with partners from across the company
โข Coordinate and assist investigating and resolving support issues, technical work across various infrastructure and application support teams.
โข Lead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements in individual or cross functional areas of responsibilities
โข Participate in and support system upgrades, deployments, and technology expansions
โข Assist in the support for Orbit reporting tool.
Qualifications
โข Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
โข Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in Information Technology
โข Proficiency in writing and executing SQL
โข 2+ years prior experience supporting Hyperion applications
โข Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
โข Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes and Data Security concepts
โข Exposure or working knowledge of Oracle ERP modules - Finance, Project Accounting, Procurement, Order-to-Cash, and Req-to-Pay
โข Exposure or working knowledge of Oracle EPM applications and tools - Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning & Essbase, FDMEE and Smart View
โข Experience with Oracle R12 (12.2), Oracle 19c databases, PL/SQL, SQL, Linux
โข Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact with customers, vendors, other IT professionals, and management.
โข Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
โข Out of the box thinking to evaluate alternate solutions
โข Solid leadership and organizational skills
โข Experience of working as a member of project team
