Role description
IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise) Developer Atlanta, GA – Hybrid Model Contract to Hire Onsite Job Description We are seeking an experienced IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer for a long-term contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ACE v13 (or v12), cloud deployments on Red Hat OpenShift, and message-based integration using IBM MQ. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work independently while collaborating within an agile team. Critical Experience & Skills • Strong hands-on development experience with IBM ACE v13 (minimum v12) • Experience deploying ACE v13 (minimum v12) in cloud environments using Red Hat OpenShift • Experience with IBM MQ in cloud and/or on-prem environments • Strong understanding of policies vs. properties in ACE • Experience managing environment configurations • Experience using the CP4I (Cloud Pak for Integration) Dashboard • Experience creating and deploying BAR (Broker Archive) files • Hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) using the ACE plugin (non-Sterling) • Experience with file processing solutions in Red Hat OpenShift Useful / Nice-to-Have Experience • AWS cloud experience • Monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk • Experience documenting technical processes and solutions • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub or Azure DevOps / Git Soft Skills & Competencies • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent time management and organizational abilities • Strong team player with the ability to work independently • Willingness to follow established standards while constructively challenging them when improvements are possible • Strong focus on documentation and knowledge sharing About Ampstek Ampstek is a global IT solutions partner serving clients across North America, Europe, APAC, LATAM, and MEA.
