IBM Watson Developer Contract Hartford CT Position Overview We are looking for an experienced IBM Watson Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions using IBM Watson services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in natural language processing (NLP), conversational AI, and machine learning integration within enterprise applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders to create intelligent chatbots, virtual assistants, and cognitive applications that enhance customer experience and business workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement solutions using IBM Watson services (Watson Assistant, Watson Discovery, Watson NLP, Speech to Text, Text to Speech, etc.). • Build and enhance conversational AI/chatbots to support multiple business use cases. • Integrate Watson applications with APIs, enterprise systems, and cloud environments. • Train, fine-tune, and optimize Watson models for accuracy and performance. • Develop custom intents, entities, and dialog flows in Watson Assistant. • Use Watson Discovery for unstructured data search and knowledge management. • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver AI-powered solutions. • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and scalability standards. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve Watson applications in production. Required Skills & Qualifications • Hands-on experience with IBM Watson services (Assistant, Discovery, NLP, Knowledge Studio, etc.). • Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, or Java for Watson integrations. • Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services. • Experience with NLP, machine learning, and text analytics. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP). • Strong understanding of chatbot design principles and conversational UI/UX. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
