About the Role We are seeking a seasoned, senior-level BI developer with experience in Palantir Foundry. This data-driven individual will leverage Palantirβs advanced analytics platform to deliver insights, reporting, and solutions that drive client success. The role partners closely with business stakeholders to produce analytics, insights, and reporting, focusing on Palantir Foundryβs suite of tools and modules. Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders and analytics teams to enable decision support and key customer insights using Palantir Foundry.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, repeatable, and effective reporting solutions leveraging Palantir Foundry modules, including:
Ontology modeling
Workshop application building
Ontology Functions
Pipeline Builder
Contour
Quiver
Application Developer training
Ontology actions
Health Check
Data lineage
Transformations
Define, implement, and standardize metrics, reports, and dashboards using Palantir Foundry.
Provide recommendations utilizing statistical model generation, business knowledge, and programmatic insights.
Answer ad-hoc analytic questions, contribute to decision-making through opportunity sizing, and train users as needed.
Enforce data quality standards, troubleshoot data validation, and resolve issues within the Palantir Foundry environment.
Troubleshoot issues and manage migration/publication of Palantir Foundry applications.
End-to-end engineering: design, development, testing, deployment, and operations within Palantir Foundry.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with data and analytics, with strong knowledge of statistics.
Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including the modules listed above.
Highly proficient in SQL, data modeling, and data pipeline development within Palantir Foundry.
Experience with data visualization and dashboarding in Palantir Foundry; familiarity with other BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Quicksight, Databricks) is a plus but not required.
Excellent problem-solving and logic skills; end-to-end quantitative thinking.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines.
Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Strong ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations.
Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business.
Strong organization, time management, and task prioritization skills.
Experience in scripting languages (Python, etc.) to automate and reuse code preferred.
Experience with AWS (S3, EMR) and advanced SQL skills for developing data warehouse and data mart solutions is a plus.
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Additional Information
Duration: 3-6 months contract with the possibility of extensions depending on business needs and performance.
Location: Preferred Mountain View, CA, or San Diego, CA. Might require occasional visits to the office. Open to remote in the U.S.
Timezone: Pacific Time.
Rate: $60/hr - $80/hr.
