IDM Developer

Responsibilities
The role is responsible for providing lead analysis, development, and support primarily around the One Identity Manager platform, with potential involvement in other systems. Key responsibilities include:
β’ Leading and supporting change projects in the IDM space.
β’ Managing day-to-day production issues, providing L3 support as required.
β’ Delivering a pipeline of small change items through all stages of the IT lifecycle, including:
β’ Requirements capture and documentation
β’ Development to agreed standards
β’ Testing (including regression testing)
β’ Packaging and deployment
β’ Mentoring L2 support resources and providing handover for changes.
β’ Analysing business data and process requirements to support IDM platform processing, including dependencies.
β’ Designing and developing enhancements to the IDM platform.
β’ Advising on implementation approaches for IDM-related projects.
β’ Conducting system testing and supporting user acceptance testing.
β’ Preparing release plans and promoting changes across controlled environments (UAT, PROD).
Experience
Essential:
β’ Proven track record in IDM business, systems analysis, and implementation.
β’ Experience engaging with users, senior management, and stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
β’ Ability to manage multiple work streams and re-prioritise effectively.
β’ Strong experience with vendor and in-house interfaces, including defining new IDM platform integrations and reports.
β’ UAT coordination and support experience.
β’ Investigative and diagnostic skills within IDM platform support environments.
Desirable:
β’ L3 support coordination in a complex IDM environment.
β’ Experience with middleware solutions and joint diagnostics.
β’ Background in financial services or investment banking.
Technical Knowledge / Skills
Essential:
β’ In-depth knowledge of IDM, including standard functions and exception processing.
β’ Hands-on experience designing workflows, provisioning processes, and connectors in One Identity Manager.
β’ Ability to customise and configure modules to business requirements.
β’ Integration expertise with systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and SAP.
β’ Implementation of RBAC, policies, and compliance rules.
β’ Experience with upgrades, patches, and performance tuning of One Identity Manager.
β’ Troubleshooting identity provisioning/de-provisioning issues.
β’ Requirement gathering and translation into technical solutions.
β’ Technical documentation of designs, configurations, and procedures.
β’ Security and regulatory compliance (e.g., SoD/Toxic rules).
β’ Strong knowledge of testing coordination and defect analysis.
β’ Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and service-desk tools.
β’ Strong knowledge of operating systems and Active Directory architecture.
β’ Hands-on experience with:
β’ OIM Designer, OIM object browser, OIM transport, OIM web, OIM data importer
β’ Databases: MS-SQL Server, Oracle
β’ Programming/scripting: SQL, VB.Net, PowerShell
Desirable:
β’ Experience with Ikasan integration platform for exception handling.
β’ Software configuration management.
β’ Knowledge of WebServices, LDAP, and Microsoft application development.
β’ Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
β’ Additional programming experience: C#, HTML, C++, Angular, PowerShell.
