Join a high-impact project focused on building a Renewable Energy Control Center for utility-scale solar operations. This system will enable operators to monitor, dispatch, and control solar panel systems using Ignition Perspective. Your role will be to accelerate progress on screens, dashboards, and controls using Perspective's powerful drag-and-drop environment.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and implement Ignition SCADA systems using Inductive Automation Ignition 8.1 Perspective for real-time control, visualization, and monitoring of solar and battery systems.
β’ Build and enhance user interfaces in Ignition Perspective including dashboards, graphs, alarms, and control buttons for solar site operators.
β’ Develop and implement control logic behind interface elements, such as feeder control buttons and system status indicators.
β’ Collaborate with the existing developer and project stakeholders to complete remaining milestones efficiently.
β’ Contribute to testing, deployment, and documentation of the control system.
β’ Ensure performance, security, and scalability of the application for real-world operational use.
Requirements:
β’ 5+ years of professional experience working with HMI/SCADA systems, industrial automation tools, or related technologies.
β’ Proven experience with Ignition Perspective and the Inductive Automation platform.
β’ Scripting skills in Python (Jython) within the Ignition environment.
β’ Experience building industrial HMIs, dashboards, or SCADA systems.
β’ Familiarity with utilities, energy, or solar projects (bonus for renewables-specific experience).
β’ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
