IICS Data Engineer

Title: IICS Data Engineer Location: McLean, VA-Hybrid Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS. • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading. • Build and maintain data workflows using Python and PySpark. • Integrate and manage data across AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, etc.). • Implement and optimize data models in Snowflake for analytics and reporting. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions. • Ensure data quality, security, and governance across all platforms. Required Skills & Qualifications • 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering. • Strong hands-on expertise in Informatica IICS. • Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and performance tuning. • Solid programming skills in Python and PySpark. • Experience with AWS cloud services (data storage, compute, and integration). • Strong knowledge of Snowflake data warehouse architecture. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows. • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices. • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Soft Skills • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. • Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments. • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
