Role description
One of our Top Aerospace Partners is looking for an experienced Implementation PM with expertise in QC-CALC real-time data collection software to join their Digital Technology team. This position focuses on the Inspection Technology & Process Capability side, which standardizes, deploys, and matures QC-CALC, an enterprise inspection application that acts as a data-validation and statistical-analysis hub for defects, so engineers can spot issues early, improve quality processes, and ensure parts are 100% inspected before shipment. This person will lead both new implementations and ongoing maturity of the application (adding new capabilities, improving data validation, and ensuring long-term scalability) across 23+ manufacturing sites (adding 2-4 sites annually). This position combines hands-on project management with light application support, ensuring that every site’s inspection data is trusted and effectively drives manufacturing quality and performance decisions. REQUIREMENTS: β€’ 4–7 years of technical project management, software implementation experience, within the manufacturing or industrial IT space β€’ Experience deploying inspection data software (e.g., QC-CALC), from requirements scoping, to configuration, testing, rollout, and ongoing enhancement support β€’ Strong understanding of data integration, validation, and statistical process control (SPC) concepts, to confirm inspection data from diverse machines flows accurately into QC-CALC β€’ Familiarity with SQL databases and DBMS concepts, using tools like SSMS or DBeaver to validate and troubleshoot inspection data flows during implementations β€’ Data visualization knowledge, to define dashboard insights and help turn inspection data into actionable insights β€’ Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and manage through the full lifecycle PREFERRED SKILLS: β€’ Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3) to understand hosting infrastructure and how to remotely connect to servers RESPONSIBILITIES: β€’ Plan and lead QC-CALC implementations and upgrades across 23 + manufacturing sites, adding 2–4 new sites annually β€’ Engage each site’s primary quality/engineering contact to define requirements, inspection machine scope, and desired reporting outcomes β€’ Configure and integrate inspection machines, set up and validate AWS data collectors, and ensure seamless, accurate data flow β€’ Drive the ongoing maturity of QC-CALC, including integrating new inspection technologies, adding data sources, improving data validation, and enhancing system scalability and performance β€’ Provide light application support, coordinating quick resolution of performance or uptime issues β€’ Ensure inspection data remains reliable and actionable so engineers can detect process issues early and implement corrective actions β€’ Prepare and maintain project plans, status updates, and documentation to keep stakeholders aligned and projects on schedule β€’ Train site teams and support change management to ensure smooth adoption of new features and best practices
