Trade Compliance Specialist Hybrid – Irvine, CA | Tues/Thurs Onsite + 1 Flex Day | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 8-Month Assignment - High potential to extend or convert to FTE An established global life sciences organization is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support its import and export operations. This role will focus on ensuring trade compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting logistics processes that enable smooth and timely product movement across international borders. What You’ll Do • Generate SAP reports and present key KPIs during Tier 4 meetings and OTIF calls. • Perform SAP GTS export compliance screenings to ensure adherence to trade regulations. • Respond to daily import clearance inquiries from Customs Brokers and other stakeholders. • Prepare and manage USDA export certificates and Certificates of Origin for the Chamber of Commerce. • Conduct entry post audits and maintain accurate recordkeeping for trade documentation. What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline — or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 1–3+ years of experience in database management, trade compliance, and import/export operations. • Working knowledge of CBP import regulations, HTSUS, HTS classification, and Country of Origin rules. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools. • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
