Position: Technical Business Analyst Location: New York City, NY (Local Candidates Only) Interview Process: In-Person Interview Mandatory Duration: 12+ Months Contract Note: • Only local candidates to NYC/NJ area will be considered • In-person interview is mandatory • Banking/Financial domain experience is highly preferred Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a fast-paced Agile team supporting the Retirement/Wealth Management platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, QA teams, and offshore development teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a banking and financial services environment. Key Responsibilities: • Work within Agile squads to deliver business and customer-focused solutions • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements • Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories in JIRA • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and offshore teams • Create workflow diagrams, interface documentation, sequence diagrams, and process flows • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT activities • Coordinate with upstream/downstream systems including Data Warehouse, LoanIQ, and General Ledger systems • Assist QA teams with test case reviews and business validation • Drive discussions with multiple technology teams to remove blockers and ensure successful delivery Required Skills: • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, interface contracts, and sequence diagrams • Knowledge of microservices architecture and system design concepts • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Strong experience with JIRA, Visio, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills: • Experience in Wealth Management, Lending, or Financial Markets • Understanding of accounting, treasury functions, and banking operations • Ability to create user flows and analyze/manipulate data • Exposure to LoanIQ or related banking platforms is a plus Education: • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
