Job Title: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Local or Nearby Candidates Preferred Job Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data solutions within a modern cloud data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable data pipelines, implementing ETL processes, and migrating data from legacy systems to Snowflake. This role requires strong expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL/PL-SQL, REST APIs, and enterprise data warehousing concepts. Candidates should be comfortable working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Required Skills • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse • Experience working with Snowflake REST APIs • Expertise in designing and developing scalable data pipelines • Experience migrating data from legacy platforms to Snowflake • Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills • Proficiency in Python scripting for data processing and automation • Hands-on experience with Informatica and/or Talend ETL tools • Experience working with relational databases such as DB2 • Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design • Experience handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets • Knowledge of distributed systems and large-scale data processing • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications • Experience integrating machine learning models with Snowflake • Exposure to Tableau or Power BI • Experience working in enterprise cloud data platforms
