Role description
Description of role, functions and activities Instrument, Pricing & Common Reference Data is center of excellence providing a securities reference data to multiple lines of business across the company. Within ARDS the Instrument Reference Data Operations team provides high quality Reference Data to its subscribers from major external market providers under a single operating model. Instrument attributes are sourced, validated, mastered, and distributed via the Client's strategic Reference Data architecture and is used for trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting. The Asset reference data analyst will ensure timely and accurate delivery of data for our internal customers and work with our technology, operations change team to drive innovative solution by using artificial intelligence or change request with Technology. The role is integral in the success of our security services organization. Key Responsibilities and Skills: Β· Daily validation in firms strategic reference data application to ensure quality of data. Β· Work with data vendor’s and technology team to resolve data issues and improve quality of data Β· Complete all daily and monthly tasks within deadline. Β· Resolve client queries promptly and professionally. Β· Participate in meetings with internal stakeholder and help drive products and solutions suitable for client needs. Β· Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor Qualifications: Β· Experience in Fixed Income, Fund Valuation, Pricing or other related roles Β· Demonstrate an understanding and interest in bonds/financial markets and products Β· Knowledge of industry activities - particularly corporate actions, index benchmarking, stock markets and fixed income products Β· Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-look ups Β· Experience/knowledge of Artificial intelligence/Machine learning tool a plus Β· Analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail Β· Self-motivated and proactive with the proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines Β· Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments Β· Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment Β· Market Data vendor knowledge, i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters a plus Β· Demonstrate customer focus and follow-up skills Β· Bachelor degree with preference in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
