Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Infor WMS SME / Solution Architect – Greenfield Implementation based in Los Angeles, CA, with the flexibility to work remotely on certain occasions. The role involves leading the end-to-end design, implementation, and execution of Infor WMS solutions and delivering expert level knowledge of Infor WMS Configuration, transaction flow, integration architecture and distribution and fulfillment execution logic to meet business and client needs. Responsibilities include developing solution architectures, creating seamless system integrations, designing efficient business processes, and ensuring successful system implementation to support operations and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
WMS Architecture & Configuration
Own overall INFOR WMS solution architecture for a new implementation
Configure and validate:
Warehouse structures (sites, zones, aisles, locations, location types)
Inventory control (status management, holds, lot/serial control, expiry)
Putaway, replenishment, allocation, and picking strategies
Wave planning, order release, task interleaving, and exception handling
Design RF workflows for receiving, picking, cycle counting, and shipping
Configure labeling, barcode standards, and RF device profiles
Inbound & Outbound Execution
Inbound: ASN processing, receipt validation, cross-dock logic, directed putaway
Outbound: wave templates, pick methods (batch, zone, cluster), cartonization, shipping confirmation
Support high-volume order processing with optimized allocation and wave logic
Integration & Data Flow
Design and support real-time and batch integrations between INFOR WMS and:
ERP (orders, inventory, ASN, shipments, master data)
TMS and carrier systems
Automation/WCS platforms
Define interface mappings, error handling, and reconciliation processes
Support data migration and conversion for items, locations, inventory, and open orders
Technical Troubleshooting & Performance
Perform deep-dive troubleshooting of transaction failures and performance issues
Analyze logs, database tables, and interface queues to identify root causes
Support SQL-based data validation, reconciliation, and ad-hoc analysis
Optimize system performance for peak volumes and go-live readiness
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Extensive hands on Expertise in Solution Architecture and strong knowledge of Infor WMS systems
Proven delivery of greenfield / new WMS implementations
Deep understanding of warehouse execution logic and WMS transaction flows
Strong expert level experience with Allocation rules, wave planning and task management in a WMS environment.
RF Configuration & Warehouse Mobility
Experience in Consulting with a focus on logistics and supply chain solutions
Proficiency in Software Development and Integration to create and implement efficient systems
Knowledge of Business Processes within logistics and supply chain management
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Engineering, or Computer Science
Proven experience with end-to-end system implementation projects, particularly in a Greenfield environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal teams and clients
Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and Data Analysis
