Role- Informatica Data Catalog Location- Torrance, CA (onsite ) "Key Responsibilities ArchitectureDesign Design and own the enterprise metadata architecture using Informatica Data Catalog and related Informatica governance components Define standards for technical business and operational metadata including lineage impact analysis and metadata enrichment Integrate Data Catalog with upstream and downstream systems such as Informatica PowerCenter IICS MDM Data Quality data warehouses and data lakes ImplementationEnablement Lead implementation of metadata scanning harvesting and classification across databases ETL tools BI platforms and cloud data sources Configure endtoend data lineage and impact analysis to support analytics regulatory and change management needs Enable selfservice data discovery for business users through curated and governed catalog views Data GovernanceQuality Partner with Data Governance teams to integrate business glossary policies stewardship workflows and ownership models into the catalog Support data quality metrics trust scores and certification processes by linking catalog metadata with data quality results Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with data engineers architects BI teams business analysts and data stewards to translate governance and discovery requirements into technical solutions Provide architectural guidance and best practices for meta data driven development and analytics OperationsOptimization Define and monitor metadata standards naming conventions and lifecycle management processes Review impact of schema and pipeline changes using lineage and metadata insights before production changes are approved Document architecture patterns and operational runbooks for Informatica Data Catalog Technical Skills Strong handson experience with Informatica Data Catalog Enterprise Data Catalog Solid understanding of metadata management data lineage impact analysis and data governance concepts Experience with Informatica PowerCenter IICS MDM Data Quality or similar Informatica products Strong knowledge of data warehousing relational databases SQL and ETL architectures Functional Soft Skills Ability to translate business and governance requirements into scalable technical designs Strong stakeholder communication and crossteam collaboration skills Experience defining enterprise standards best practices and architectural blueprints"
