Role description
Matlen Silver is actively recruiting for an Informatica ETL Support Engineer Consultant to work for our client's migration support team in Plano, TX (3 days onsite per week) to provide support for a migration of on-premise ETL processes from Informatica version 10 to Informatica Cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL data integration and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition to cloud-based solutions while maintaining high standards of data quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Provides monitoring and support for migration problems and coordinates with ETL teams across the organization including activities related to application incident and problem management.
• Performs root cause analysis and communicates with the line of business and management the overall status and health of the application throughout the support process.
• Looks for areas of improvement in monitoring, application stability, and speed of determining root cause.
• Performs troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and scripting skills.
• Work closely with Technology Infrastructure Teams, Development & Testing Teams in supporting Integrated / Independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, server upgrades.
Desired Experience:
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience with exposure to Level two production support tasks.
• Experience on working Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Cloud Data Governance Catalog (CDGC) Foundation
• Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change management
• Experience with on-call support for triaging problems, coordinating with various support teams across the organization and carryout activities related to incident and problem management.
