β’ Interview type, virtual then onsite (no travel or relocation expenses will be provided.
We are seeking a Senior Informatica/python Developer to join the HR Technology team within the Chief Data Office.
6-10 years of experience will suffice, not looking for an architect but do need to have recent Informatica, Informatic Admin, and strong Python kills.
We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay: $65 - $75/hr W2
Responsibilities
This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise data pipelines that support the HR Analytics ecosystem. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Informatica, Python, and SQL, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
Experience Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
β’ 6β8 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering / Data & Analytics
β’ 4+ years of recent experience with Informatica.
β’ Experience with Informatica Administration.
β’ Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and transformation
β’ Advanced SQL skills (data validation, optimization, complex transformations)
β’ Experience with data warehouse / data lake design and data modeling
β’ Hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets
β’ Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and enterprise data pipelines
β’ Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
β’ Strong fundamentals β candidates must demonstrate real hands-on expertise (no resume-only experience)
β’ Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Nice-to-Have / Secondary Skills
β’ Experience migrating from Informatica to modern data stacks
β’ Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including model tuning or LLM integrations
β’ Experience conducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
β’ Experience with HR data models or People Analytics
β’ Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or similar)
β’ Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms
β’ CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins)
β’ Familiarity with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint)
Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
