Role description
Position Name: Informatica/IICS Admin Location: Onsite: Plainsboro, NJ Duration: 6-12 months of contract with possible extension Primary Skills • Informatica / IICS admin with AWS and Linux. Tableau exp is preferred Specialization • ETL Specialization: Data Architect Job requirements • Install, configure, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter and related components. • Manage user roles, security policies, and repository services. • Monitor workflows, troubleshoot failures, and optimize ETL performance. • Apply patches and upgrades to maintain platform stability. • Tableau Cloud Administration • Manage Tableau Cloud environment, including user provisioning, permissions, and governance. • Configure data sources, schedules, and extract refreshes. • Ensure compliance with data security and access control policies. • Monitor performance and optimize dashboard rendering. • AWS Cloud Management • Deploy and manage Informatica and Tableau components on AWS infrastructure. • Configure EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and networking for secure and scalable operations. • Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies. • Linux Administration • Manage Linux servers hosting Informatica and Tableau services. • Perform system monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting. • Automate routine tasks using shell scripting. • Security & Compliance • Implement role-based access control and encryption standards. • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. • Performance Monitoring & Optimization • Use monitoring tools to track system health and performance. • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks. Experience • 10+ years of experience in Informatica and Tableau administration. • AWS certification (preferred). • Linux certification (preferred).
