Ā· Strong data/information architecture and modelling expertise
Ā· Experience with metadata, taxonomy, and governance tools ( IBM Manta, Data.World)
Ā· Knowledge of GDPR and regulatory frameworks
Ā· Understanding of insurance data domains (preferred)
Ā· Ability to bridge business, data, and technology

Key Responsibilities
Information Structure & Classification
Ā· Define enterprise metadata, taxonomy, and data classification frameworks
Ā· Standardise business definitions for consistency and discoverability
Ā· Embed privacy, sensitivity, and handling rules into information assets
Information Flow & Lineage
Ā· Design and document end-to-end information flows across systems and domains
Ā· Maintain data lineage and dependencies
Ā· Ensure flows support operations, analytics, and AI use cases
Conceptual Modelling
Ā· Develop high-level information models aligned to core insurance domains
Ā· Ensure consistency across platforms, datasets, and products
Ā· Support data quality and observability frameworks
Governance & Regulatory Alignment
Ā· Embed GDPR, retention, and lifecycle policies into information design
Ā· Align classification with security and compliance requirements
Ā· Support Data Governance Group and audit obligations
Information Lifecycle
Ā· Define standards for creation, usage, retention, and disposal
Ā· Enable data minimisation and ethical handling
Ā· Partner with engineering to implement lifecycle controls
