Our client is a well-known beauty manufacturer and distribution company. They are looking to add an Information Architect (Scientific Data) to join their team.

Position Overview
The Information Architect (Scientific Data) position is for 12 - 24 months. This position does not sponsor. NO OPT, CPT, FI, or Companies please. The ideal candidate for the role will be handling multiple activities in a team supporting diverse NA Scientific data needs. Primary functions include data acquisition method development and design, scientific data quality management, reference and master data management, data integration, data governance, and exploratory data analysis.
Responsibilities Of The Information Architect (Scientific Data)
β’ Data modeling, physical source data models, data profiling reports, data quality control, data definitions, data taxonomy, data metrics, metadata, data cleansing services.
β’ Activities: data modeling, data audit, detailed data design, define rules, establish master data solutions, define hierarchies and affiliations, distribute reference and master data, profile, analyze, and assess data quality.
β’ Design data quality management procedures, working closely with Business and the Data Quality organization in Paris.
β’ Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns in data. Communicate data findings to stakeholders, clean and correct data quality defects.
Required Experience/Skills for the Information Architect (Scientific Data):
β’ Be able to translate data requirements into business processes and reverse engineer business processes into data requirements.
β’ Comprehension of DevOps and Agile development and application to data-centric architecture and data analysis solutions.
β’ Expert in data modeling (physical and logical), ER diagrams, data dictionary, data map, normalize/denormalize, and agile data modeling.
β’ Expert in data manipulation tools.
β’ Practical skill sets in BI and Data visualization tools.
β’ Knowledge of other programming languages and ability to write code (i.e., VBA, Python, XML).
β’ Working knowledge of ETL.
β’ Experience in managing scientific data.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Information Architect (Scientific Data):
β’ Leadership skills needed to successfully promote ideas, coordinate work activities, and plan deliverables within a project team.
