β’ is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team on a contract basis to help document our suite of technical products and developer tools. This role will be instrumental in creating clear and comprehensive documentation that enables developers and organizations to effectively integrate and utilize

β’ βs technologies. Our current projects include documenting the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for LLM-to-external system integration, API documentation, product documentation such as for Claude Code, SDK guides, and various other technical features. The ideal candidate combines deep technical writing expertise with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts to diverse technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for various developer-facing products and features
Document APIs, SDKs, protocols, and integration patterns across multiple technical initiatives
Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and research teams to gather technical information and understand new features and capabilities
Develop code samples, tutorials, and quickstart guides for different products and use cases
Review and edit documentation for technical accuracy, clarity, and consistency with

Gather and incorporate feedback from users and internal stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality
Skills:
5+ years of professional technical writing experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating API and developer documentation
A proven ability to document complex technical systems and make them accessible to various audience levels
Experience with documentation-as-code workflows, including Git, Markdown, and static site generators
Hands-on coding experience in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
A strong understanding of modern software development practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-directed work style with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience documenting AI/ML tools, platforms, or APIs
Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM concepts
Background in software development or engineering
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated documentation workflows
Experience with API specification formats (OpenAPI/Swagger)
Contributions to open-source documentation projects
