NFCF Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Online and Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide critical Information Management Officer (IMO) support services to the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC). This vital role directly supports MCMWTC's mission of conducting advanced mountain warfare and cold weather operations training, developing warfighting doctrine, and facilitating integrated exercises to enhance Marine Corps readiness.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the MCMWTC S3 Operations Section, working under the guidance of the MCMWTC Deputy Operations Director and S-3 Operations Officer. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, administrative acumen, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure the efficient flow and management of mission-critical information across the organization.
Responsibilities:
β’ Information Management Leadership: Serve as a primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Information Management, supporting formal schools, Service Level Training Exercises (SLTE), and Base/Installation Operations. Advise the Commander and staff on IM-related topics during daily operational planning.
β’ SharePoint & Power Platform Development & Management:
β’ Analyze business and information requirements to design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust SharePoint and Internet content solutions, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform products (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
β’ Design intuitive user interfaces within SharePoint Intranet/Internet environments and Power Platform.
β’ Responsible for overall site design, structure, data management, organization, and permissions management for MCMWTC SharePoint platforms.
β’ Systems Administration & Support:
β’ Serve as the SharePoint Administrator, providing oversight and technical assistance to MCMWTC sections and tenant commands utilizing SharePoint.
β’ Provide technical guidance and systems management support for Teams and OneDrive to internal and external users.
β’ Troubleshoot customer issues through research, analysis, and testing, ensuring all requirements are met.
β’ Webmaster Duties: Act as the installation webmaster, responsible for content management and website administration. Develop web pages using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and guidelines for web presentation.
β’ Collaboration & Communication:
β’ Identify and optimize information sharing and distribution means across MCMWTC and its tenant organizations.
β’ Promulgate command collaborative environments and facilitate the use of appropriate collaborative services, systems, and applications.
β’ Maintain listings of current Power Platform products, SharePoint sites, and IM representatives.
β’ Establish and maintain effective working relationships across various levels of MCMWTC management, as well as with Information Management and Knowledge Management teams at MAGTF-TC and TECOM.
β’ Collaborate with all MCMWTC elements on system capabilities and limitations to align functionality with business processes.
β’ Training & Documentation:
β’ Instruct functional area users on SharePoint techniques, search strategies, processing, and functionality.
β’ Prepare reports, coordinate team initiatives, conduct training, and write letters of instruction and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to information sharing systems.
β’ Policy & Process Improvement:
β’ Interpret requirements, policies, and regulations from higher headquarters, evaluating their impact and recommending appropriate actions.
β’ Develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, and improve the effectiveness of work processes and procedures within MAGTFTC and its directorates.
β’ Influence and coordinate with higher headquarters (TECOM and MAGTF-TC) on policy creation and operating procedures to ensure effective collaboration and end-user support.
β’ Working Group Facilitation: Under the direction of MCMWTC leadership, facilitate the Information Management/Knowledge Management Working Group, ensuring efficient work processes and information dissemination. Participate in TECOMβs Information Management Working Group.
β’ Continuous Improvement: Maintain technical proficiency by staying current with changes and updates to Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online functions and capabilities as they apply to the DoD environment.

β’ MS-700: Teams Administrator Associate
β’ PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
β’ PL-900: Power Platform Fundamentals
β’ PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate
β’ Preferred Certifications (Significant Benefit):

β’ Microsoft Applied Skills credentials under βModern Workβ or βBusiness Applicationsβ categories.
β’ Experience:
β’ Five (5) years of cumulative experience working on and developing Power Platform products (Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate).
β’ Five (5) years of cumulative experience developing, managing, and implementing solutions for a SharePoint Online site, including data management, organization, and permissions management.
β’ One (1) year of teaching experience.
β’ Proven experience in a similar Information Management/Knowledge Management role within a DoD environment is highly desirable.
β’ Skills:
β’ Strong understanding of information management principles and best practices.
β’ Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML for web development.
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.
β’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
