IT Business Analyst (cloud applications) Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid) Duration: 1 Year Rate: $60–65/hr W2 Join a collaborative Business Systems team supporting enterprise business applications in a hybrid environment based in Memphis, TN. This one-year contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced IT Business Analyst with expertise in SDLC methodologies, business requirements gathering, cloud-based applications, and stakeholder collaboration. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple business-critical applications while partnering with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. You'll gain exposure to cloud technologies, business process improvement initiatives, application enhancements, and project management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly support operational success. Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience · 5+ years of experience in a client-facing IT Business Analyst or related IT role · Experience working within structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies · Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements · Experience supporting cloud-based or vendor-hosted applications · Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills · Experience creating business process documentation using Microsoft Visio, including process flows and swim lane diagrams · Working knowledge of continuous improvement and project management methodologies · Functional understanding of application databases and vendor configuration/integration tools · Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills · Ability to troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams and vendors · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment · Basic hardware troubleshooting skills · Ability to work onsite as needed for hardware support and operational activities Desired Skills & Experience · Experience supporting enterprise business applications · Experience configuring vendor-hosted applications using administrative tools · Experience analyzing application data for reporting and troubleshooting · Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and work independently What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown · 70% Business Systems & Cloud Applications · 30% Process Improvement, Reporting & Hardware Support Daily Responsibilities · 80% Hands On · 5% Management Duties · 15% Team Collaboration Key Responsibilities · Support multiple cloud-based business applications · Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements · Troubleshoot application defects with support teams · Coordinate issue resolution with technical teams and third-party vendors · Assist with project management activities · Monitor and maintain timeclocks and related hardware as needed · Engage proactively with stakeholders and vendors to deliver business solutions · Participate in application enhancements following SDLC best practices · Create and maintain business process documentation and workflow diagrams in Microsoft Visio · Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of business processes and application functionality · Configure vendor-hosted applications using approved administrative tools · Analyze application data and database structures to support reporting and troubleshooting · Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental objectives
