Information Technology Business Analyst

An electric utility client is looking for an IT Business Analyst who will demonstrated ability and experience in conducting analysis of business requirements, system requirements, system design, and system test plans. Location: Remote - Candidates must be local in case onsite is required (Pomona) Position: IT Business Analyst Pay Rate: $34.74/hr. on W2 Duration: 12 months or longer Schedule: M-F 8am -5pm RESPONSIBILITIES • Execute crew changes in CAD to maintain accurate deployment plans and personnel records. • Perform ad-hoc data cleanup for OMS and related T&D systems to ensure data integrity and readiness for ADMS migration. • Perform data cleanup for OMS and related T&D systems (e.g., SAP notifications). • Support documentation and validation for ADMS transition readiness • Demonstrated ability to model, analyze, design, test implement, and maintain moderately complex applications. • Under direct supervision, assists in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements. • Responsible for the analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary under direction of experienced Business System Analysts. • Competent to consider most business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Remote Desktop Proficient DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Knowledge of utility industry • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment About our client: Our client is one of the largest electric utilities and a longtime leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency in the United States providing electricity for much of Southern California.
