Role description
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support and evolve enterprise business applications used across finance, sales, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain functions. This role serves as a key connector between business teams, external vendors, and internal IT partners, ensuring systems are stable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. The position blends day-to-day application support with project-based work, contributing to system enhancements, integrations, and new technology initiatives that support both current operations and long-term growth. Responsibilities • Act as a functional expert for assigned business applications, gaining a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and technical specifications. • Provide production support for enterprise applications by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending long-term solutions. • Gather, document, and validate requirements, workflows, and process maps to support system enhancements and new implementations. • Support applications and integrations spanning ERP, warehouse and logistics systems, financial platforms, BI/analytics tools, EDI/ASN, and third-party service providers. • Identify operational risks, system gaps, and improvement opportunities, and work with stakeholders to define mitigation strategies. • Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, user guides, training materials, and release communications. • Participate in all phases of technology initiatives, including analysis, design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training activities, and change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption. • Manage vendor relationships, including issue tracking, escalation, and performance follow-up. • Support occasional travel to business or vendor sites (approximately 10–20%). Requirements • 5+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or similar role supporting enterprise systems. • Proven experience working with large-scale business applications such as ERP, financial systems, warehouse/logistics platforms, and BI/analytics tools. • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, evolving environments. • Hands-on familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. • Proficiency with business analysis, data analysis, and project management tools. • Experience supporting system integrations, including EDI and external vendor platforms, preferred. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
