REMOTE! :) Expert IT Business Systems Analyst – Medicaid Compliance Duration: 6–24 months Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizens only (no visa sponsorship) \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) – IS&T is hiring an experienced Business Systems Analyst to lead the design and support of a Medicaid Managed Care Contract Compliance Tracking System. This role ensures compliance with state and federal Medicaid regulations, working across business, IT, and policy teams to define requirements, lead testing, and improve workflows. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Key Responsibilities: • Lead business analysis efforts for a Medicaid compliance tracking system • Define system requirements, workflows, and business rules • Validate and map data, support testing, and engage end users • Prepare deliverables, such as process flows, use cases, and user guides • Monitor dashboards and compliance metrics • Manage production issues and support resolution tracking \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Required Experience: • 5+ years in business analysis • 3+ years in Medicaid Managed Care or healthcare programs • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations (e.g., CFR 42) • Excellent communication and documentation skills \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Proficiency in: • JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Excel • Reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Information Systems, or related field Experience with state Medicaid agencies or compliance systems Knowledge of Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), CMS reporting, and audit processes Experience with workflow automation and dashboard/report design Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
