Technical Business Analyst 2
Location: Portland, OR--On-site 3 days per two-week pay period for the first 3-6 months, then Remote Work Eligible.

Overview:
Support enterprise IT projects by partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, analyze business processes, document solutions, and ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements sessions.
• Develop process flows, user stories, business rules, and solution documentation.
• Perform business process analysis, gap analysis, and process improvement assessments.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements for technical teams.
• Maintain requirements traceability and manage scope changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support testing activities, including UAT planning, execution, and validation.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
• Assist with business case development, product evaluations, and solution selection.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience (11+ years without a degree).
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process modeling.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of System Development/Life Cycle (SDLC/SLC) processes.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jama, Enterprise Architect).
• Exposure to custom software development and COTS implementations.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in regulated or infrastructure-focused industries.
