Role description
(5+ years experience in one or more of the following): β€’ Manufacturing / shop floor systems β€’ Supply Chain, Product Mgt (part mgt, specs, BOMs) in the areas of material mgt, logistics, planning β€’ Sales Operations or E-Commerce Key Responsibilities β€’ Partners with business requesters to identify and scope high level needs in support of project initiation and business case development β€’ Partners with Solution Architects to develop cost / risk analyses for IT solution design concepts β€’ Provides guidance to business SMEs on project governance processes β€’ Partners with Project Managers and Product Owners to define the requirements elicitation and documentation plan for approved projects β€’ Leads the development of detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and system Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for approved projects including: β€’ Facilitating requirements elicitation sessions with the user community β€’ Developing and documenting use cases, etc. to demonstrate requirements β€’ determining overall priorities for all requirements β€’ Communicates functional and non-functional requirements to the solution architect β€’ Partners with solution architect to ensure initial alignment between business requirements and IT solution design concepts, including supporting feasibility studies as appropriate β€’ Partners with Testing Analysts to ensure test plans are developed and executed in alignment with internal standards and external compliance requirements β€’ Ensures User Acceptance and Functional Testing is complete and confirms test results meet documented business needs β€’ Partners with the User Experience and Transition Communities of Practice to ensure training plans and materials support overall business requirements Other Desirable Skills: β€’ Lean facilitation experience (e.g. Kaizen), and VSM mapping experience β€’ Root cause or problem analysis through discussions with users and coordination with internal support organization and/or vendors to resolve problems. β€’ Analyzing business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices) β€’ Managing small-medium project and shepherd changes through IT change management process. β€’ Working in a GxP environment with knowledge of validation processes
