Job Title: IT - Developer - Specialty Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Description: This position will be responsible for: • Defining, developing, testing, and implementing web-based solutions which range from simple to moderately complex. • Performing business analysis of systems and following through with the full development life cycle. • Translating business needs into technical requirements. • Investigating and understanding new technologies • Leading large development projects and transformations Successful candidate will have the following skills: • Must be US Citizen • Some web application development experience • Strong interpersonal and team-work aptitude • Strong organizational and time management • Communication both oral and written • Documentation skills Ideal candidate will have proficiency in the following: • .NET Framework / MVC • HTML/CSS • C# (or Java) • SQL / MySQL • Full Microsoft development stack Tools • Microsoft Visual Studio • Microsoft SQL Server • Confluence & Jira Additional desirable technical skills are: • JavaScript, jQuery • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
