Role description
Infrastructure Operations Onboarding Engineer \_Remote Contract-to-Hire Must Have Requirements: β€’ Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience and credentials. β€’ 3+ years of experience working within client-facing or consulting capacities within the MSP Managed Services Provider, IT service providers, or consulting of IT services. β€’ 8+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level Windows and/or Linux environments. β€’ 8+ years of experience in infrastructure support services dealing with DNS, DHCP Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication β€’ At least 3+ years of experience working with system performance and monitoring platforms such as LogicMonitor, Elastic, SolarWinds, ElastiFlow, ServiceNow (ITOM, MID Server), or BeyondTrust. β€’ Outstanding communication skills both spoken and written with a proven ability to work well across various organizational levels. β€’ Demonstrated ability to operate with a customer-first mindset, ensuring high satisfaction through effective service delivery. β€’ Comfortable communicating with stakeholders via email, calls, or face-to-face interactions, along with strong experience in creating technical documentation. β€’ Able to juggle multiple initiatives, collaborate within a team, and respond quickly to shifting priorities. β€’ Brings a proactive mindset and a sense of urgency to resolving technical challenges and improving systems. β€’ Self-driven, with the ability to navigate tasks independently and efficiently prioritize under pressure. Preferred Experience: β€’ Competency in Linux system administration is preferred. β€’ Prior experience working within AWS or Azure Cloud Services a plus
