Innovation Strategist / AI Digital Transformation Lead

CodeBright, a Virginia-based digital transormation agency, is assembling a high-impact team to deliver cutting-edge AI and smart-city solutions for government and public-sector clients. We specialize in municipal technology projects and are seeking an experienced professional to lead AI-driven digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Create and maintain an AI-focused innovation roadmap, identifying pilot projects in machine learning, predictive analytics, computer vision, or natural language processing. Evaluate and recommend AI/ML technologies and frameworks that improve city operations and citizen services. Design proof-of-concept AI projects (e.g., chatbots, predictive maintenance, data-driven decision systems) and oversee implementation. Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions are ethical, scalable, and compliant with public-sector regulations. Requirements Proven experience leading digital transformation or AI strategy projects, ideally in government or large public-sector environments. Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML tools and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI). Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
