Insight Analyst (12m FTC)

Job Description We’re Beauty Pie. We’re the world’s first luxury beauty and wellness buyers’ club. And we’re disrupting the beauty industry, one face cream at a time. Before we arrived on the scene, if you wanted really great beauty products, you had to shop at traditional beauty retail - and overpay for all the crazy markups. Now, our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products (from the leading labs in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc) and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie. We're looking for a curious and commercially minded Insights Analyst to join the Beauty Pie team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll sit at the heart of our data ecosystem; turning customer, trading, and market data into clear, actionable insights that shape decisions across the business. You'll work closely with teams including Marketing, Product, and Commercial to surface trends, build reports, and tell compelling stories through data. You'll be comfortable with tools like SQL, Excel, and data visualisation platforms, and you'll have a knack for making complex analysis feel simple and relevant to a range of stakeholders. Job Requirements • You have strong experience working in an Insight Analytics role, preferably for a DTC business (amazing if you have membership/subscription experience, not to worry if not!) • You're technically confident, and are comfortable analysing complex, cross domain behavioural data through SQL, and potentially other languages, in partnership with your manager • Extensive experience in data dashboards (we use Lightdash, but open to others) • You're able to understand, demonstrate and most importantly, be able to work with and without AI/LLMs • You thrive in ambiguity, ask incisive questions, take a structured approach to problem-solving and provide clarity • In partnership with your manager, you enjoy working closely with senior stakeholders to enable even better data driven decision making • You enjoy collaborating with data peers, in data engineering and data science Job Responsibilities • Alongside your manager, working with leaders across Beauty Pie to understand the drivers of business performance, analysing key trends and providing in-depth analyses and recommendations through engaging stories to help the business make important strategic decisions • In partnership with the team, help the different functions across Beauty Pie understand the problems they’re trying to solve and make the right decisions. • Use your broad exposure to Beauty Pie’s data and priorities to self-identify and recommend areas of interest for analysis. • Alongside your manager, partner with stakeholders to define analysis objectives and translate business objectives into high impact analytical questions. • In partnership with the data team, present findings and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. • Partner with stakeholders to ensure insights get taken forward into actions • Collaborate with your manager and the wider data team to ensure we deliver impact to the business • In partnership with insight analytics team, role model Insights and Analytics across Beauty Pie Job Benefits • Hybrid working with 3 days in the office in central London • Free membership to Beauty Pie+ and additional percentage off our products • 25 days holiday & your birthday off • Flexible bank holidays • Equal leave for all new parents regardless of gender or personal circumstances Health & Wellbeing • Private Medical Insurance • Menopause support • £2,500 / $2,500 to spend on your fertility journey after 2 years of service • 10 therapy sessions through AXA PPP • Access to mental health support through Spill Apply now for a chance to be part of an inspirational, international and talented team.
